The Hydrow brand color palette is inspired by life on the river and in the boathouse. Its primary blue elements convey the energy and serenity of the water, and are complemented by natural colors that speak to timeless authenticity.
Note: How these colors are used in combination with eachother is up to the decision of the party using the palette. The palettes were created with the intention of being used together and bringing consistency to our brand. However, not all these colors work well when only used directly with one another, so please follow these usage guidelines accordingly.
Our primary palette is comprised of blues and neutral tones to elicit balance and the tranquility of life on the water. These colors are utilized purposefully across product and marketing to guide our audience and make them feel at home.
- “Deep Sea” is primarily used as a background color on pages and occasional product screens, but sometimes is used in large text for print work.
- “River” is used for text links, progress indication, and occasionally actions and buttons depending on the use case.
- “Riptide” is used for primary actions, buttons, and visual accenting throughout.
- “Neutral” is used mainly for backgrounds to help bring warmth to balance out the depth of the blues.
- “Cedar” is not used often, but it is useful in adding diversity to our palette when needed. Be careful using this color often and relying too heavily on it, specifically in tandem with "Deep Sea".
